Rotary LEGSĀ® RPS LW20

The RPS_LW20 is a customized piezomotor with an adapted encoder systems developed by NANOS Instruments for Acuvi. The robust design with ball bearings guarantee a smooth and highly accurate movement in the range of sub nanometers.

The low current encoder with high resolution is mounted outside. This results in practically zero drift with highest resolution. This stage is fitting with many of our other stages or goniometers, and can be combined as building blocks for a multi-axis stage. With itĀ“s high force it is able to move also other stages with cable andyour probs.

Controlling the motor

Our motor control units come in many different versions, with controllers and amplifiers for laboratory use as well as for integration into OEM devices.

We can also license the drivers for customers that want to build their own driver electronics.
